About the Opportunity

Torbay Lifestyles & Care is seeking a full time People and Culture Coordinator based in Hervey Bay, QLD.

The People and Culture Coordinator provides transactional and administrative support to the People and Culture Manager to facilitate and ensure accurate delivery of services to support the full employee lifecycle.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Administration of the Torbay Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to facilitate employment lifecycle processes, including:
  • recruitment, onboarding and induction
  • establishment of, and changes to working arrangements
  • performance development planning and review
  • separation and exit
• Provide a range of administrative and support services to the people and culture function.
• Escalate and redirect issues as required.
• Ensure accurate information is maintained and timely advice is provided.

About You

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic people-focused P&C Coordinator who is passionate about supporting staff growth and creating a positive workplace culture.  

The following skills and background will be highly valued:

• Certificate IV in Human Resource Management, or Diploma of Human Resource Management or similar.
• Three years experience in a People and Culture role – desirable.
• High standard of interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with staff to assist with employment-related matters.
• Proactive approach to problem solving with strong decision-making capability.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• High level of organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

As our ideal candidate you will possess exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to engage effectively with all levels of staff.

Working closely with our People and Culture Manager you will help to foster a supportive and inclusive work environment that alights with Torbay’s values and culture.
